Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake in Kenya, outside the town of Naivasha in Nakuru County, which lies north west of Nairobi. It is situated in the Great Rift Valley. known for its prolific birdlife, abundant hippos, and lush surroundings of swamps, acacia woodlands, and forests. On arrival. you’ll be received by the resident guides who will escort you to a waiting motorized boat. Begin your sail to a nearby crescent island. On the way you’ll be treated with sights of Hippos, Crocodiles and riverine bird-life.
But there is More to see during your boating adventure in Lake Naivasha. At crescent island, you’ll be brought closer to wildlife than you could believe. Here, while walking, enjoy viewing amongst zebras, giraffes, impalas, and great eye-catching flocks of bird-life. It’s your perfect destination for selfie photo taking.
1-Day Lake Naivasha
Visit the nearby Hell’s gate which was named after a narrow break in the cliff, once a tributary of a prehistoric lake that fed early inhabitants of the rift valley.
Of interest in this Hell’s gate are the hot collections of water at the caves. With caution a tour to these caves is worth of a visit but make sure that you are guided.

Lunch will be served in one of the lodges or tented camp in Lake Naivasha. Return to the lake shore and drive back to Nairobi arriving in the Evening. Drop-off at your hotel or any other point of your interest.
